![]() ![]() If Jetico had their own back-doors, they would be pretty stupid doing so could put their personal safety in serious jeopardy (would YOU want to be the only way some lawless and determined organization could access some data it was after?). ![]() I've NEVER gotten more "proof" out of anyone than "Shucks, I read it somewhere". Whenever someone blathers on about that, pay careful attention to the basis for their claim-in other words, the proof. Now, this is where someone will chime in to claim that Jetico has given a master key to the FBI, or they have their own back-door, or some other baseless nonsense. They release minor updates very often, to fix whatever small issues individual users bring up. ![]() You'll get none of that run-around with BestCrypt and Jetico (the authors). When I was trying to use their previous version, however, they vehemently denied such problems. One of the other popular commercial encrypted-volume products just released a new version, and in their release notes, they admit that they fixed stability issues. I agree-BestCrypt is among the best, if not the best. ![]()
